Announcement on Discontinuation of Facebook Wi-Fi

Note: Please refer to this announcement for the corresponding product packaging's support for this feature.

Due to recent changes implemented by Facebook, we regret to inform you that the Facebook Wi-Fi Portal Authentication feature will no longer be available after June 12, 2023. Please note the following:

  1. Omada Controllers V5.11 and above will no longer support configuring Facebook Wi-Fi. We recommend switching to other portal authentication methods as soon as possible.
  2. TP-Link Wi-Fi router Archer C50/A5 will no longer support configuring Facebook Wi-Fi.
  3. End-users will not be able to authenticate via the Facebook Wi-Fi after June 12, 2023*.
